Registration

Spring Baseball

Registration for spring 2025 baseball for Blastball, T-Ball and Mini-Minors is still open.

Registration for spring 2025 Rookie-Minors, Minors and Majors has now closed.

This year marks Hampton’s 70th season of providing young players in the Greater Victoria area the chance to play ball.

Baseball Assessments will take place in March, prior to the start of the spring season. These assessments are mandatory for all players in the Rookie Minors, Minors, and Majors divisions. The purpose of these assessments is to ensure teams are balanced and players are placed in the appropriate division based on their skill level.

Important: Even if a player registers for Majors, Minors, or Rookie Minors, they may be moved up or down a division based on their assessment results. This is done to ensure safety and maximize enjoyment for all players.

Friend Requests

We understand the desire for children to be placed on the same team as their friends from school or other activities. Hampton will accommodate friend requests for Blastball, T-Ball, and Mini Minors divisions and will do our best to honor them.

For Rookie Minors, Minors, and Majors divisions, teams will be formed based on the assessment results only. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that players will be placed on the same team as their friends in these divisions. Ensuring fairness and balance across all teams in each division is our priority, and friend requests can sometimes make this difficult to achieve.

Spring Softball

Registration for Minor and Majors Softball for 2025 is closed.

Registration remains open for Junior/Senior age groups.

Challengers

The Challenger Division of Little League Baseball, established in 1989, enables children with special needs to enjoy the game of baseball alongside millions of other kids worldwide.

Fall Ball

Registration will begin in August

Fall/Winter Clinics

Registration for off-season indoor clinics will begin in fall/winter 2025.

Financial Aid

Hampton Little League strives to ensure that no player is excluded due to financial constraints. Several programs offer financial support to help cover the costs of registration:

  • KidSport Victoria: Provides up to $400 annually per child for registration fees.
  • Canadian Tire Jumpstart: Covers registration, equipment, or transportation up to $300.
  • Athletics 4 Kids (A4K): Covers up to 80% of the registration fee, with a maximum funding threshold of $150 for baseball.

If none of these options apply and you need further assistance, please reach out to our Treasurer at Treasurer@HamptonLittleLeague.com. We do not want financial concerns to prevent any child from participating.

Hampton Little League Scholarships

Established in 2018, the Frank Findlay Scholarship Awards program recognizes young athletes who are pursuing education in baseball or softball. For 2024, two $250 scholarships and one $500 post-secondary award will be available to eligible youth enrolled in high school or post-secondary softball/baseball programs.

These awards are made possible through the generous support of the Findlay family, who have strong ties to the league, including Frank Findlay, the league’s first president in 1956/1957.
