It’s hard to believe we are in the last 2 weeks of the regular season – WOW that goes by in a blink! As the regular season wraps up there are a few events and activities to let you know about.
Volunteer Appreciation Night – Saturday June 16 @ 6PM
At Hampton we LOVE our volunteers! We can’t function without them…literally…as everything done at Hampton is done by our volunteers….so Hampton hosts a Volunteer Appreciation Night near the end of the season to thank and celebrate all the hard work from so many people that makes our season and our park such a success. We encourage all volunteers to come out – Hampton will provide food and for those who want to play a fun game of slow pitch is also on the menu!
Closing Ceremonies – Sunday June 24 @ 3PM
Please have your player at the soccer cage in uniform and ready to go! We will be having our ceremonial closing parade, recognizing players, giving out awards and trophies. The winning raffle tickets will be drawn (make sure to bring your tickets!). And this year Hampton has also purchased 9 spots at Harbour Cat player camps and we will be drawing for those lucky winners from the Rookies, Minors, Majors and Intermediate divisions at the end of Closing Ceremonies!
AGM Sunday June 24 @ 4PM (after Closing Ceremonies)
This year we are trying something a little different and holding our AGM immediately after Closing Ceremonies rather than in September. We will review Hampton’s financials, report out on the season, provide information about committees and how people can get involved, elect the new Board and have a conversation about plans for next year. Come with your ideas and feedback!
District Tournaments
Hampton will be fielding an 8/9/10 Tournament Team and a 10/11/12 Tournament Team in the District tournaments. We will be posting updates and pics so keep an eye on our website and Facebook! (and come out if you can and cheer them on!)
