Baseball Assessments are now scheduled. We want to give your player the best opportunity possible to really shine and to get a thorough assessment of their skills and development so that we can place them where they will be at a level where they are safe, be challenged and not bored, and also have balanced teams. We find that the first time a player comes out to assessments they can be a little “rusty” and don’t always do their best which means we may not get a true sense of their abilities. If your player is 7 or older, we strongly encourage you to bring you player out to at least 2 assessments so that they can be more relaxed, be back in the swing of baseball and do better so we can get a more thorough assessment of them.
Little League does require that every player attends 50% of assessment sessions and historically we have not enforced this requirement. So what does this mean for you? It means if you have a player who is ages 7 and above we encourage you to bring your player to 2 sessions if at all possible. If you are unable to make it, we will work to accommodate your player but please note next year we will be adhering to Little League requirements.
Please Note: Softball assessments – you will be contacted by your coach about softball specific assessments
